Steel Barriers, Gates & Height Restrictors

To go alongside any of the above concrete barriers/blocks, whilst still receiving the protection and security from them, we also offer steel gates; with widths of 3.5m up to 4.5m available.  This provides you with more flexibility and will help you to easily gain access to your site.

Our premium barrier gate is a multipurpose product designed to contribute to hostile vehicle mitigation on events or any occasion where safety is paramount.  Two concrete blocks are double-stacked in a cradle on each gate post, giving a total ballast weight of 4800kg either side of the gate.

The entire setup of this option requires a road width of just greater than 6m, with an opening gate width of 4m between the posts.

This product is similar to our standard barrier gate but incorporates an additional yellow-painted height restriction barrier which provides up to 2.1m of clearance underneath, filtering vehicle access when required.  A third post is included which allows one or both gates to be locked in the open position when full access is needed.

These temporary 'on ground' site gates utilise a total of 4 x concrete Lego blocks (each 1200kg and 800x800x800mm) as ballast. The ballast sits on top of a steel base plate that is attached to each gate post. Each gate leaf is 2 metres, providing a total opening width between gate posts of 4 metres. The entire gate set up requires a road width of nearly 6 metres. A padlock shield and vertical poles to allow temporary fencing to be attached directly to the gate posts, are both incorporated into the design of this fully galvanised gate. It is a popular product for many applications including construction sites, as it allows for both pedestrian and vehicular access.
